Good afternoon.
My name is Ksyusha Raudsep.
I started as a photographer in children’s homes. At the time I did not really understand where it would lead. I simply took the camera and looked.
Then came brands, magazines, advertising shoots, model tests. Beauty, product, billboards, marketplaces. A small product studio of my own. Retouching, which I have been doing for many years and which, for some reason, I still especially love.
I am probably not very good at dividing photography into separate parts.
Shooting. Retouching. A person. Light. An idea.
All of this has always been one story for me.
I am a photographer who prefers not to resist reality, but to befriend it.
That is why, at some point, AI appeared fairly naturally. I did not arrive there from another profession. I arrived with a camera, retouching, and the habit of looking at an image for a long time.
Now I work at the intersection of photography, AI, and visual art.
Sometimes I shoot. Sometimes I create an image from scratch. Sometimes I spend a long time retouching what already exists.
I like it when something living remains in a picture. Even if half of that picture never existed.
